The Music Artists Network is a professional music workgroup collaboratives for developing aspiring, semi-professional, and professional music artists' careers in the independent (Indie) music industry through performance, education, and networking events.

Songwriters, solo performers, bands, musicians, producers, and other artists and music business professionals benefit through the creative exchange and collaboration on projects that build competencies, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other characteristics that are so crucial for making a living in the field of contemporary music.

Music Artists Network focuses on three main areas: developing artist's music skills (e.g., musicianship), business acumen (e.g., marketing), and professional competencies (e.g., leadership).

 

Music skills targets both the creative and technical aspects of an artist's capabilities, business acumen prepares artists to approach music as a business, and professional competencies assists artists with defining and strengthening their leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
